Well, this letter is only here to satisfy your need for a reply.
I never used xbithack, so I cannot advice you anything in this case.
IMHO PHP will only parse files with registered file extensions, so
xbithack should not bother PHP.
It is not a good idea to post to php developers directly, you should
not expect any answers from them... They do what they can, but if
they feel, that the problem is not right for personal letters, then
they won't answer, or will direct you to a mailing list.
