Hallo
I do understand and I do acknowledge you've probably most relevant things to do, but I found at the following web address:
http://it3.php.net/
The following lines:
---
[11-Sep-2001] The worldwide PHP community is horrified by recent events and would like to offer its deepest sympathies to the friends and families of those who lost their lives. Support the Red Cross.
---
I understand it is sincere, but it's also completely sorrunded by overwhelming data on strictly techincal Php issues, detailed with a commendable vigour and dedication that, none the less, make the commemoration line disappear, appear pale, perfunctorily added like a burden you had to get rid of someway, you see.
Might I suggest either to give a more strong stress on your commemoration line or to delete it at all? For in the way it is now, between the "Thanks to the generous folks at Rackspace, we have " and the "There is no need now to come to the main php.net server" and the "The 0.1 release of PHP-GTK is now available. PHP", it just makes a very bad impression: seems the issues are on the same level you see.
Thank you for your kind attention, I just thought it was not too bad an idea to inform you of this kind of impression those two commemorative lines may produce.
