note 59650 rejected from function.mssql-connect by cece

Note Submitter: Manny ---- Hi ! I moved our PHP to win2003 server and also the database to sql2000 from 7 . the problem is that the php on new win2003 machine can connect to old sql server and update the rows of tables but when I try to do the same on the sql2000 it does not update any thing at all but when i tried to do echo to the query in returned me resourceid #1 which was the same of when it ran on sql7 where as on 7 it updated fine but on sql2000 it does not . it seams php is working fine in win2003 server , to further check i tried the same with php on linux server using freetds and the php on linux also did the same it updated sucessfully on sql7 and returned resourceid#1 but on sql2000 it did not updated any thing althout seems that query was executed as it returned resourceid #1 . just to check if there was any premission issue with sql i tried php update query by using odbc dns based connection than the normal mssql_connect functions and the dns based php was able to update the sql2000 and sql7 both without any problem . can some please help me ?
