Here is a function that returns an array of all files (filenames) from inputted directory.
function getDirFiles($dirPath)
{
if ($handle = opendir($dirPath))
{
while (false !== ($file = readdir($handle)))
if ($file != "." && $file != "..")
$filesArr[] = trim($file);
closedir($handle);
}
return $filesArr;
}
