I am having trouble using the PHP FTP GET and PUT functions between client and server (I need to
regularly update files on my website via PHP).
I followed some examples and managed to get listings of files on my server but when I tried to GET a
file from the server down to my client the file did not arrive even though the GET function's
result status indicated success.
I added some code to dump the file immediately after the test for a successful GET and the file
contents were displayed but searching with windows explorer did not reveal the file!
My local system device is J: and I am telling the GET PHP function to place the file in the root of
J:
What am I doing wrong?
As PHP is server based does a GET mean a GET from the server's viewpoint or, as I have assumed,
from the client's viewpoint?
Thanks for any help,
Alex
