I was getting an error calling all sql commands in windows server 2003 from php5.
with "Call to undefined function ...." errors on every one.
I had done everything in all the installation tutorials, adding c:\php to the windows path from the
/cp/system gui and adding all the correct dlls and uncommenting all the libs I wanted to use in
php.ini, making sure I had no other files lying about and keeping all php files in c:\php as
suggested in many docs. Rebooted countless times. Still no joy.
php would run and show phpinfo() but no SQL commands would work.
While looking at phpinfo() I Noticed that "Configuration File (php.ini) Path =
C:\WINDOWS\".
I Finlay fixed it by moving the php.in file into the "c:\windows\" folder against
instructions. restarted the server and everything started working and the path now says
"C:\WINDOWS\php.ini"
Seems that adding c:\php to the system path doesn't work.
