Under Windows XP SP2 and IIS, $_SERVER('x') returns a path using forward slash '/' as the separator, where x is: PHP_SELF, SCRIPT_NAME These arguments, however, all return a path using backward slash, '\' as the separator: __FILE__, SCRIPT_FILENAME, and DOCUMENT_ROOT (if you use one of the methods mentioned previously). Also note that if the name of the last directory in the document root includes a space, the methods described above for setting DOCUMENT_ROOT will return a value that drops the everything past the space. ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/reserved.variables.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+60601 Delete: added to the manual -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+60601&report=yes&reason=added+to+the+manual Delete: bad code -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+60601&report=yes&reason=bad+code Delete: spam -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+60601&report=yes&reason=spam Delete: useless -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+60601&report=yes&reason=useless Delete: non-english -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+60601&report=yes&reason=non-english Delete: already in docs -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+60601&report=yes&reason=already+in+docs Delete: other reasons -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+60601&report=yes Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+60601&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
