I just installed php5.1.2 on Windows XP SP2/IIS5 as CGI mode. It seems system can automatically find
the php.ini file in "c:\windows" or php install folder without setting php folder to PATH.
I tried to move php.ini from "c:\windows" to "c:\php" and run phpinfo() again,
it showed the php.ini moved from "c:\windows" to "c:\php" as well. But I
didn't set PATH then.
I also tried isapi mode. phpinfo() showed the default settings of php.ini and the path of php.ini
pointed to "c:\windows", but at that time, I didn't put any php.ini in
"c:\windows". Where did these php info come from? A little bit strange.
And another problem I met is that I only can use php.ini-dist, but can not use php.ini-recommand. I
tried to set one of those 2 files as my php.ini. When I used php.ini-dist, I just set the
cgi.force_redirect PHP directive to 0, and it ran well. but when I did the same on php.ini-recommand
and run phpinfo(), a blank page opened, nothing appeared. Could you help me to solve the problem?
