Ok, I've read this thread. Maybe I have a simpler install: Apache 2.0.54 running on Windows XP
Prof (version 2002, SP1) and trying to run PHP 5.1.2.
I have in my Apache file which ran PHP 5.0.4 JUST FINE:
LoadModule php5_module "c:/php/php5apache2.dll"
ScriptAlias /php/ "c:/php/"
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
PHPIniDir "C:/php/"
What I found is that after downloading and running the install for PHP 5.1.2, I get an error when
starting Apache "cannot load module c:/php/php5apache2.dll......
I've changed things and unchanged things and downloaded other files and tried various things
including adding c:\php and c:\php\ext to the PATH environment for the machine and copying
php5ts.dll to the %SystemRoot%\System32 directory.
Nothing works except copying back the php5ts.dll from PHP 5.0.4 into the c:\php directory. Yes,
I've tried having the trailing '/' for the PHPIniDir but no effect. Once I copy back
the php5ts.dll file from PHP 5.0.4 into the c:\php directory (no other changes), Apache will start
just fine and PHP runs inside apache just fine (including Oracle oci8 extentions).
Any ideas? Is this just a bug in the 5.1.2 dist?
