Note Submitter: jmau0438 at aol dot com ---- I'm trying to send PHP a URL string from flash 8 which will contain values used in a MYSQL query. Once the results have been recieved PHP will then dynamically build an XML document that will hold each file found that corresponds with the query. Flash 8 will then read from the XML spreadsheet in order to present the information. When I hard code the values into the functions that handle the queries and run the flash interface it works great. However, when I attempt to POST these values from flash to PHP I get no respones (this is technically not an error). I guessing that maybe the values are gone or the php script executes faster than flash 8 can send the variables. The script is rather sensitive so I am not allowed to show any of it, but I am running out of options, so I decided to turn to the PHP community for help. The only part of the process that I am lacking is how to assign flash 8 values that are intented for the query to PHP to be used within PHP routines.
