Testing if an element has attributes is a little fuzzy, and I haven't got a solution.
isset returns true on [0], empty returns false.
trying to echo $xml->element[0] gives nothing as an output.
but that occurs even if it has at least one argument, so you can't access them with
$xml->element[0].
