I have a weird problem with functions that interacts with OS: I cannot execute any command through system(), exec() etc. The system() return code is 127, nothing appears in log files... I am trying to execute this: system("/usr/bin/mysqldump --opt -h $host -u $user --password=$pass $db | /bin/gzip > $savefile",$retval); print $retval; I cannot find anywhere anything about what must to be set or configured on my LINUX server. The script works just find on a similar test server. The two server configuration is identical. Do I miss something? ---- Server IP: 195.228.154.4 Probable Submitter: 84.0.252.173 ---- X-Spam-Status: No, hits=3.1 required=5.0 tests=DATE_MISSING,FROM_NO_LOWER autolearn=no version=2.64 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.system.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/note/edit/62469 Del: integrated -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/62469/integrated Del: useless -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/62469/useless Del: bad code -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/62469/bad+code Del: spam -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/62469/spam Del: non-english -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/62469/non-english Del: in docs -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/62469/in+docs Del: other reasons-- http://master.php.net/note/delete/62469 Reject -- http://master.php.net/note/reject/62469 Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
