This may seem so trivial, but it took me a good half-hour to figure this out, as I wasn't
getting any errors (even with E_ALL). I had just installed PEAR::Mail and created the following
file:
<?php
// mail.php -- send sample mail
require 'Mail.php';
$mail = Mail::factory(...);
// rest of code here
?>
So, I wasn't getting any errors, the mail was not being received, I had no clue what was going
on. And then, 'duh'. I had named my script 'mail.php', and was requiring
'Mail.php'. Being on a case-insensitive file system (windows), php was either recurively
requiring mail.php or blocking the require due to the fact that it was running. No errors at all,
not even a warning or notice.
Be warned :)
