HTTP/1.1 allows for persistent connections. I have the following situation, a client sends me a HEAD request, I respond only with headers, but then without closing the connection the client will send me GET requests to obtain partial content, and I must answer back with 206 and send chunks of data. Is there a way to keep reading headers? is there a way to get a hold of the stream PHP is using so that I can keep reading as if it was a socket? to which stream am I writing when I do an echo? ---- Server IP: 216.194.113.175 Probable Submitter: 69.141.29.7 ---- X-Spam-Status: No, hits=3.1 required=5.0 tests=DATE_MISSING,FROM_NO_LOWER autolearn=no version=2.64 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.apache-request-headers.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/note/edit/62507 Del: integrated -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/62507/integrated Del: useless -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/62507/useless Del: bad code -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/62507/bad+code Del: spam -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/62507/spam Del: non-english -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/62507/non-english Del: in docs -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/62507/in+docs Del: other reasons-- http://master.php.net/note/delete/62507 Reject -- http://master.php.net/note/reject/62507 Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
