Caution: In response to the editor's notes (Philip) about using arrays for names in HTML form
elements, I'd like to point out that the HTML 4.01 specification doesn't specifically
allow brackets "[" and "]" in a element name.
From the W3C spec:
'ID and NAME tokens must begin with a letter ([A-Za-z]) and may be followed by any number of
letters, digits ([0-9]), hyphens ("-"), underscores ("_"), colons
(":"), and periods (".").'
