Same problem, no solution. I'm running Solaris sparc with mysql 4.1.12. I've tried every
config command I can think of and have modified my PATH as follows:
setenv PATH /usr/ccs/bin:
/usr/local/bin:
/usr/local/ipw/bin:
/usr/local/ipw/contrib/bin:
/sbin:/usr/sbin:
/usr/bin:
/usr/bin/X11:
/usr/ucb:
/usr/openwin/bin
./configure '--prefix=/usr/local/php' '--localstatedir=/usr/local'
'--mandir=/usr/share/man' '--with-mysqli=/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql_config'
'--includedir=/usr/lib' '--enable-shared=max' '--enable-module=most'
'--with-imap=/usr/local/imap' '--with-imap-ssl=/usr/local/ssl'
'--with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs' '--enable-fastcgi'
'--enable-mbstring=all' '--with-zlib-dir=/usr'
'--with-openssl=/usr/local/ssl'
I think it's a compatibility issue with the version of mysql running 64-bit.
