if you are thinking about using Serializable DON'T!! it's buggy as hell
if the reason you wanted to use Serializable is because you couldn't get to your private class
vars using array_keys(get_class_vars(__CLASS__)) from within __sleep, then just declare your
variables as public until php catches up with itself.
