note 63174 added to function.imagefilter

Is there a way to use the function to add brightness to red? Or make color separation? I thought to use IMG_FILTER_COLORIZE but if it works like IMG_FILTER_GRAYSCALE it will be effected by all types of colors. Or am I wrong?
