I have written a class that converts a text string in a PNG image using imagettftext(). Main features are : - transparent background (will display black in MSIE) - optimized heigth and width of the created image according to the length of the text and the angle of writing - positionning of the drawing on a background image in order to merge it You can also find comments on the design of it or test it on line, if you speak french...
