Ok this is by no mean a HOW TO or anything but the possible registry of
what I have been throw to install the package PHP4 and put it to work
with Apache 1.27 under OpenBSD 3.3 WHILE using Apache chrooted into
/var/www.
step 1:
pkg_add <your mirror>/php4-core-4.2.3p1.tgz
(easy right?)
step 2:
find libphp4.so wich will probably be at /usr/local/lib/php/modules
and copy it to /var/www/libexec
step 3:
edit the httpd.conf at /var/www/conf
(you may need root access to change the file permissions)
and insert this lines:
LoadModule php4_module libexec/libphp4.so
AddModule mod_php4.c
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
step 4:
Start or restart the server normally, without the -u flag.
