it seems that o (lowercase "Oh") has the same meaning as Y, it prints the year with four
numbers (e. g. "2006"), so
<?php
date("l dS of F Y");
?>
will NOT give you "Wednesday 22nd of March 2006" (but rather Wednesday 22nd 2006f March
2006), you gotta escape the o:
<?php
date("l dS \of F Y");
?>
