A more general approach for the redirection could be:

header("Location: http" .
($_SERVER["HTTPS"]=='on'?"s":"") .
"://".$_SERVER['HTTP_HOST']
.dirname($_SERVER['PHP_SELF'])
."/".$relative_url);
?>
This way you wont mind if later you wanna use SSL.
