After running into trouble executing
<?php
header("Location: ...");
?>
statements, I found the following advice in a posting, "You should include an exit statement
after a call to header() if you want the script to stop. If you leave out the exit statement,
several additional statements may be executed before the headers are sent and this can lead to
unpredictable behavior."
Adopting this solved my problems, so I emphasize it as an important practice.
