If you want to check if the browser is Internet Explorer, or Firefox, you could use the following :
<?php
if(strpos($_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT'], 'MSIE')!==FALSE) {
echo 'Browser : Internet Explorer<br />'; }
else{
if(strpos($_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT'], 'U')!==FALSE) {
echo 'Browser : Firefox<br />'; }
}
?>
