The easy way to avoid notepad mangling your extensions (at least in XP) is to simply go into windows explorer, then go Tools->Options->Uncheck "Hide Extensions for Known Types". Notepad picks up on this and stops being stupid. It's a good idea to uncheck this anyway since it makes it harder to be tricked by viruses (yes I know it's stupid, but I know of many people who have infected their system because of the old .jpg.jpg.gif.exe trick). ---- Server IP: 66.163.161.117 Probable Submitter: 24.137.220.64 ---- X-Spam-Status: No, hits=3.1 required=5.0 tests=DATE_MISSING,FROM_NO_LOWER autolearn=no version=2.64 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/tutorial.firstpage.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/note/edit/63716 Del: integrated -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/63716/integrated Del: useless -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/63716/useless Del: bad code -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/63716/bad+code Del: spam -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/63716/spam Del: non-english -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/63716/non-english Del: in docs -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/63716/in+docs Del: other reasons-- http://master.php.net/note/delete/63716 Reject -- http://master.php.net/note/reject/63716 Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
