True. You can't pass error_log () a subject. It will always be "PHP error_log
message". I think the hint here (from the mention of mail() in the docs) is to just use the
mail function if we know we will be mailing the error info.
I think the switch is there for convenience or perhaps it's deprecated. Either way, it would be
just as simple to call mail as error_log() won't handle multiple destinations (ie: it
can't both mail and write to the syslog).
