I am experiencing difficulty with PHP 5.0 and apache using fopen on an NFS mounted directory.
the example...
under var/www/html I have mounted a dir called 'extract' from my DNS server.
I want to create files here..
I have changed all the permissions to being wide open, and from the shell, I can create and delete
files all day long, but when I use fopen from PHP/Apache on this mounted directory, I keep getting
(unable to create stream) errors.
If I just put the file into a normally created directory here, it works just fine, but when I make
it an NFS mount to another server it does not work, even though the directory permissions are
identical.
I have beat my head into the ground with this one...
I am not any kind of Apache / PHP / Linux expert, but I am assuming I am missing some sort of
setting in some .conf or .ini file to make this happen?
someone please have some good advice???
