Has anyone had success using this to connect to the service manager?
it seems the function is using an implied tcp connection. So my function call looks like this
ibase_service_attach("localhost:service_mgr",$user,$password);
This results in the following:
Warning: ibase_service_attach() [function.ibase-service-attach]: Cannot attach to services manager
service service_mgr:service_mgr is not defined in dbAccess.php on line 18
Since I do not have a lot of information on the functions usage, I thought i'd ask you good
people for a clue.
Currently User and Password are set to SYSDBA and masterkey.
I have also replaced localhost with 127.0.0.1 and also the "name" of my computer. All
results in the above error.
I ave also tried to use just 'service_mgr' and get an error message about not being about
to locate the host.
ideas?
