Call session_start() first!
Using PHP v4.3.4, this worked fine:
<?php
require('includes/functions.php');
session_start();
...
?>
Using PHP 5.0.5, it broke, causing the session vars to be lost when the page was reloaded, even
though nothing was '...output to the browser...' before calling session_start(). The fix,
obvious now, was the devil to find:
<?php
session_start();
require('includes/functions.php');
...
?>
