Previous notes reported on lost session data with broken images or favicon.ico. This is an addition.
Some versions of Firefox and Safari on the Mac consider the favicon.ico as an essential part of the
page. Even to the extent that when not using a favicon.ico they'll behave the same as when an
images is missing: you will lose the session data.
Solution: create a favicon.ico.
Peculiar datail: the session isn't entirely lost, it's just that the session variables
return the name of the missing image/favicon.ico
