If you are using php-recommended.ini as your php.ini file,
note that you won't be able to access $argv, or $GLOBAL[$argv]
So, you either call the php client as:
php -n test.php foo bar
that is, do not load php.ini, being foo and bar arguments.
or
php -d register_argc_argv=On test.php foo bar
or update your php.ini by turrning, the register_argc_argv on.
register_argc_argv = On
