SQLite is fucking slow!
Trying to insert about 5K of email addresses I can watch the file grow by 2KB/s on a Dual-2GHz CPU
(Debian).
If you plan using SQlite to replace the PHP Session in an AJAX environment -- don't use it!
This could make sense because PHP-Session cannot deal with concurrent variable __set(); It just
stores it's data in a serialized text file. If more than one PHP-Process would write to that
Session, data would be overwritten.
If you need in-time SQL-Features like GROUP or ORDER, SQLlite could make sense. But not for storing
large amounts of data!
Better use MCache or use MySQL Engine=Memory or something to store session or temporary data.
