In Photoshop, I often get a low-res image and resize it up to depixelate it before e.g. printing (i
goto image -> image size and increase pixel count accordingly). By default Photoshop uses
'bicubic' resampling although other options are available.
I hoped the same would work with GD2, but alas when I use imagecopyresampled() to increase the
dimensions of an image, the new image has the larger dimensions but is just as pixelated as the
original.
For example, on a diagonal line rather than smudging over the line which is the desired effect,
instead you see the line as pixels still, except each 'pixel' is now actuall a number of
pixels together.
Does anyone have any idea how to get my desired effect?
