I was attempting to use these functions to avoid the cludge of addslashes hell, in a way that would
be very useful.
rename_function("addslashes","oldaddslashes");
function addslashes($s)
{
if(get_magic_quotes_gpc()) return $s;
return oldaddslashes($s);
}
Then I realized I'd probably have to use override_function, then I realized I don't have
the PECL installed, and became frustrated. Anyone know away around installing the PECL to accomplish
such a thing short of search and replacing all previous addslashes with a new
addslashesonlyifnotgpcon function?
