If you are worried about the register_globals variable and don't want to add to the .htaccess
file, just do something similar to this:
if (count($_GLOBALS)){
mail('<address>','Hack Attempt',$_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR']);
die('Page not accessible');
}
For files that don't need paramater passing. Make sure to know rather you actually are using
them yourself or not.
