I would like to thank Mr. Tripplett and add to his comment. You also have to build c-client with -fPIC (Position Independent Code) on Solaris 9 with GCC 3.3.2 and Apache 1.3.x. You used to be able to build PHP with the IMAP extension with that option up until PHP 5.1 which threw me off since I had no problems from PHP 4.0.x through PHP 5.0.5. I would use -O2 instead -O3 since the UW-IMAP Makefile explicitly states that -O3 optimization may not work properly. One last minor detail, usually I use "&&" instead of ";" to execute commands since && exits if the previous command fails. ---- Server IP: 66.163.161.117 Probable Submitter: 137.148.96.119 ---- X-Spam-Status: No, hits=3.1 required=5.0 tests=DATE_MISSING,FROM_NO_LOWER autolearn=no version=2.64 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.imap.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/note/edit/66037 Del: integrated -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/66037/integrated Del: useless -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/66037/useless Del: bad code -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/66037/bad+code Del: spam -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/66037/spam Del: non-english -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/66037/non-english Del: in docs -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/66037/in+docs Del: other reasons-- http://master.php.net/note/delete/66037 Reject -- http://master.php.net/note/reject/66037 Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
