If you are escaping strings in javascript and want to decode them in PHP with urldecode (or want PHP to decode them automatically when you're putting them in the query string or post request), you should use the javascript function encodeURIComponent() instead of escape(). Then you won't need any of the fancy custom utf_urldecode functions from the previous comments. ---- Server IP: 217.75.128.29 Probable Submitter: 193.194.140.46 ---- X-Spam-Status: No, hits=3.1 required=5.0 tests=DATE_MISSING,FROM_NO_LOWER autolearn=no version=2.64 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.urldecode.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/note/edit/66301 Del: integrated -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/66301/integrated Del: useless -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/66301/useless Del: bad code -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/66301/bad+code Del: spam -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/66301/spam Del: non-english -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/66301/non-english Del: in docs -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/66301/in+docs Del: other reasons-- http://master.php.net/note/delete/66301 Reject -- http://master.php.net/note/reject/66301 Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
