It took me a whole afternoon to find out why FETCH_ORI_ABS did not work in my code until I found
this "bogus bug report": http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=34625
explaining to me, that MySQL does not support scrollable cursors. From this PDO documentation a
normal PHP developer, who happens to NOT know all supported or not-supported features of databases,
cannot see, that the "scrollable cursor" is a feature that the db has to support. Either a
thrown exception or a hint in the documentation would have saved me some time.
