I see several notes here regarding the use of:
session_cache_limiter("must-revalidate");
...which struck me as odd, since it isn't documented at all. I ran a few tests to see what
result this had and found that is causes the same headers as setting the cache limiter to
'none'. That is, it sends no Cache-Control, Pragma, or Expires headers at all.
The reason I looked into this was because we had problems feeding flash data from php via SSL (only
in MSIE), and it was being caused by the nocache headers, as documented here:
http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=fdc7b5c
I still haven't decided on the best setting to use. I'm afraid that 'none' may
end up causing caching of data that's supposed to be dynamic (though I've yet to see it do
that). I may try session_cache_limit('private') along with session_cache_expire(0) and
see how I make out.
And oh yea...IE bites :D
