not sure why this is, but after fetching data from mySQL, this returns 0
settype($result[num],"int");
$num2 = $result[num];
while changing the array value to a var then putting back in the array seems to work.
$num2 = $result[num];
settype($num2,"int");
$result[num] = $num2;
odd....
