Certain functions will cause php to 'crash' with gifs under 2px * 2px + transparency.
I'm afraid I haven't the time to pinpoint - but it did occur around these two:
imagefill($dst_img,0,0,$color_transparent);
imagecolortransparent($dst_img, $color_transparent);
But of course saving the image etc. was post those and resizing and resampling was prior.
If you recieve such a problem try bigger minimum image sizes. If i get the time i'll pin this
bug down.
