the char list didnt work for me. i needed to chop off the new line character at the end of a line
when reading in a file. So this is what i did...
$data = file("emails.txt");
foreach($data as $value)
{
$value = substr($value, 0, (strlen($value)-1) );
// blah blah blah
}
