Trying to keep this really simple, so it only shows a message to our visitors if our database server
is down.
We have this currently:
$connection = mysql_connect($db_host, $db_username, $db_password) or die(mysql_error());
This doesn't work:
$connection = mysql_connect($db_host, $db_username, $db_password) or echo "Sorry, our site is
currently unavailable");
Any tips?
