Any idea how to return value from the remotely included file ??

$foo = include 'http://www.abc.com/gui/return.php';
echo $foo; // should prints 'PHP' but prints 1
$bar = include 'http://www.abc.com/gui/noreturn.php';
echo $bar; // prints 1
?>
what i am missing ???
