Hello,
Unfortunately, php (or MySQL) reports TINYTEXT, TEXT and LONGTEXT fields as blob, and not as string,
which is quite annoying when it is about really detecting the type of your data, and figure what to
do with it.
I hoped that upgrading from MySQL 4.1 to 5.0 would help. It doesn't.
Any way to have the MySQL type, and not the php type ?
