note 68944 deleted from ref.image by betz

Note Submitter: ---- I was wondering if anyone knows if GD is a multi-threaded library? I have a site that will potentially have a lot of users generating anywhere between 10-60 thumbnails each at a time. My concern is that if, say 20 users, all use our PHP page to create thumbnails, that server will be bogged down. I searched the web for info on image queues for GD (in PHP), but could not find much. Any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks, Pacuare
