As Tony Piper said, you may have one Web controler which disables the gzip stuff,
'Outpost' in my case. To enable the compression process : edit your registry key
'Enablegzipencoding' to '1' in 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Agnitum\Outpost
