I have been upgrading a web server. The current configuration is IIS 6.0 + PHP 5.2 build 3790 with
SSL support.
File uploads failed with a blank screen if the file size exceeded ca. 49 Kb. I tried modifying
different timeout parameters (PHP and IIS) and the POST_MAX_SIZE and UPLOAD_MAX_FILESIZE directives.
Modifications had no effect.
After turning off SSL in IIS uploads were successful. Some experimenting showed that the
"Accept client certificates" -setting was causing the problem. Now I am running IIS with
SSL and "Ignore client certificates" -setting. Even large files can now be uploaded.
I didn't found anything about this feature on the web.
