There is a workaround for the sqlite_close bug, but it involves having a dummy sqlite file that you
will never really use. If you run the following code:
$dbhandle = sqlite_open("sqlite.db",0666,$sqlite_error);
sqlite_close($dbhandle);
$dbhandle = sqlite_open("dummy.db",0666);
this will have, for no good reason really other than PHP symbol management, closed the original
handle. Of course you can not rename or unlink "dummy.db" while your script runs, but then
that's basically the whole point of the file anyway.
