I just tested the version of "xml2array" posted by "aaron dot henderson at gmail dot
com" on 08-Oct-2006 07:57 without success. It still appears to fail on child-nodes with the
same name as the parent node. (also it didn't parse attributes of the child nodes correctly).
Here is my test XML file:

<title>Node 1</title>
<blank></blank>
